The JH21 Series Open-Type Fixed Press manufactured by World Group is a single-point, open C-frame mechanical press that is widely used in industries including hardware products, household appliances, automotive components, and tool manufacturing.
For stamping equipment of this type that operates continuously under long-term and high-load conditions, standardized daily maintenance is particularly critical. Among all maintenance measures, the lubrication system is a core factor in ensuring stable operation and extending the service life of the machine.
The JH21 Series press is uniformly equipped with a combined manual and automatic lubrication system. The manual oil lubrication pump is mainly used for lubricating the counterbalance cylinder and related mechanisms. Users are required to operate it before daily startup to ensure smooth operation of the balance rod mechanism.
The automatic grease lubrication system is applied to high-load and wear-prone components such as the connecting rod bronze bushings, bearings, and slide guideways, providing continuous lubrication under high-speed stamping conditions and effectively reducing friction and wear.
In addition, independent oil reservoirs are provided in the gearbox on the top of the frame and inside the slide, both equipped with oil level indicators. Users should regularly check the oil levels according to actual production load and operating time, and replenish the specified type of lubricant as required to ensure proper operation of the gear transmission system and screw ball joints.
Meanwhile, the clutch lubrication oil level should be checked via the oil level gauge located behind the clutch, and lubricant should be replenished in a timely manner to ensure sufficient lubrication of the clutch plates, thereby reducing wear and the risk of damage.
During on-site equipment maintenance and inspection at customer facilities, our after-sales service team has found that some users, due to insufficient attention to lubrication management, have experienced abnormal wear or even cracking of key moving components such as bronze bushings and slides. In addition, some customers have used lubricants that do not meet the specified requirements, resulting in abnormal grease viscosity or the accumulation of impurities, which in turn caused blockage of lubrication pipelines and impaired normal lubricant delivery. In certain cases, long-term failure to replenish clutch lubricant as required led to severe wear of the clutch plates, making complete replacement unavoidable. This ultimately affected normal production cycles and increased equipment operating and maintenance costs.
To ensure stable operation and extend the overall service life of the machine, users are advised to carefully read the operation manual supplied with the equipment before commissioning. The manual provides clear and detailed instructions regarding the locations of all lubrication points, lubrication intervals, and lubricant specifications. At the same time, a lubrication identification metal nameplate installed on the side of the machine clearly marks each key lubrication point, making it convenient for operators to follow during daily operation and maintenance.
If you have any questions during equipment operation, maintenance, or lubrication management, or require further clarification on lubrication requirements and operating procedures, you may contact our after-sales technical support team at any time via email or other designated communication channels. Based on the specific machine model and actual operating conditions, we will provide targeted technical guidance and support to assist users in standardizing maintenance procedures and ensuring the long-term, safe, and stable operation of the press.
